Great to see so many people wanted to help, though the part “The remaining whales died on the beach. One rescuers described the distressing scene, saying he could hear the animals “crying”" - is pretty depressing.

These people actually did the right thing by helping to save a few mammals which are probably an endangered species due to some unnatural thing humans have inflicted upon them.

While I agree it’s a tragedy when these things happen, I don’t think it’s for us to interfere unless we as humans were the ones responsible for creating the problem in the first place

If you do a little research I think you will find that scientific data confirms sonar can cause this. Some whales have punctured eardrums from sonar. They can’t deal with this stuff. It would be like us having the worst migraine imaginable. They beach themselves most likely to get away from it.

It was bleeding heavily on Friday. something terrible happened to it. I wonder why it ever came this close to shore which is not common for this type of whale. It seems strange so many whales and dolphins are beaching themselves lately. Makes you wonder what is going on in the ocean.

It is so wierd that so many whales and dolphins get beached. I dont understand why or how this animals keep beaching themselves. I am glad few could be saved.

With all the junk man has dumped into their waters, we shouldn’t be surprised. It looks like they killed themselves... Do they know something we don’t?

I think that strong echo from sonar navigation drive whales brain confused and crazy to hell. Whales also have their own sonar navigation system. majority of whales that got stranded were near from coastlines/off shores. Maybe if sonar can not be used near from coastlines, then whales will not end up on shore.
